Shawano Specialty Papers’ thermal laminator manufactures scrim-reinforced materials utilizing 2-ply or 4-ply tissue. We have the ability to use polyester scrim reinforcement in various scrim counts, as well as provide multiple colors of tissue and scrim. SSP prides itself on a high level of ply attachment to ensure the laminated material will maintain its integrity during use.
SSP’s scrim reinforced tissue is used in the medical industry for surgeon’s hand towels, caps, and examination gowns. The benefits of our substrate include extraordinary strength and high absorbency.
